Satori ("we", "our", "us") operates the website satori.guru. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data.
1. Data We Collect

We do not collect: names, phone numbers, payment information, location data, or any data from your exercise sessions. Exercise progress is stored only in your browser (localStorage) and never sent to our servers.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Email address: solely to send you a notification when Satori launches. We will not send marketing emails, sell your email to third parties, or share it with anyone.
- IP address: processed by Cloudflare for security purposes (DDoS protection, bot detection). We do not store IP addresses in our database.
- Cookies: used only by Cloudflare Turnstile for security verification. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or tracking cookies.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
We process your personal data based on:
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) — you explicitly consent by checking the "I agree to the Privacy Policy" checkbox and submitting your email.
- Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — for security measures (bot protection via Cloudflare).
4. Data Storage & Security
- Email addresses are stored in Cloudflare D1, a serverless database operated by Cloudflare, Inc.
- Data may be stored in Cloudflare data centers in the EU and/or US.
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption).
- Access to the database is restricted to the site administrator only.

7. Data Retention
We retain your email address until:
- You request deletion, or
- We send the launch notification and you do not create an account (we will delete non-converting emails within 90 days after launch), or
- The project is discontinued (all data will be deleted)
8. Children's Privacy
Satori is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. If we make significant changes, we will notify subscribers by email.
